I’m sure you’ve noticed that everyone is on a health kick these days and I am not excluded from this list! I’ve really been watching what I eat and have been dedicated to exercising on a regular basis. In fact I’ve found the most inexpensive ways to stay in shape!
- The first thing I realized is that you don’t have to have an expensive gym membership to get your work out on. I can use the gym in my apartment complex 24/7 and it is equip with 2 treadmills, and elliptical, stationary bike, and free weights. If you want to cut back on spending and you have access to an at home facility then by all means get rid of the gym membership and save that money or put the extra towards paying down debt.
- Another way to work out and save money is by doing so in the great outdoors. Yesterday I ran outside free of charge and I even used a FREE app on my iPhone called Runtastic to track my work out. This app is awesome it allows you to play music, while it tracks calories burned, distance and so much more. This is one of many free apps out there just search for fitness apps (MyfitnessPal, MAP My Run, etc.)
- Surprisingly following people on Instagram who are living a healthy lifestyle or even searching the hash tag #teamfit can pull of pictures of several workouts or fitness challenges (Squats, Abs, etc.) that you can do in the comfort of your own home!
- I’ve added the 100 Workout to my regular routine and I got it off Instagram and now I’m doing the April 2013 Squat Challenge also found on Instagram!
